Gwenllian

It has been around three years since I finished University, so it felt appropriate to release a studio recording of this song, “Gwenllian”. It’s about Gwenllian ferch Gruffyd, who led a revolt in Kidwelly Castle in 1136. This song was written for “Melters, Picklers and Puddlers”, a co-production between the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David and Cydweli 900. It was orginally performed in Kidwelly Industrial Museum in 2015 with my friends and fellow students at UWTSD, in our final show of University.

I hope you enjoy it, and make sure you listen in HD!

Break Me Out

This fortnight’s track was one of the first ones I wrote and recorded this year. It, like a lot of my stuff, starts with an acoustic guitar, and ends with a big solo at the end! I think my ever-present Muse influence is all the more noticeable on this one, and I hope you enjoy listening to it!

Wait For The Signs

“Wait For The Signs” is a track I wrote at the end of 2017. It has some very progressive moments, a big, bluesy main riff and a cracking solo to boot. I think that my love for Pink Floyd shines through on this one with some of the synth elements, but it certainly has a life of its own!

The cover photography for this track was by my wonderfully talented younger sister, Lily Roberts, who took the photo in Penrhyn Castle in North Wales!
